Jentel will host its next Jentel Presents program Tuesday, Sept. 30, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library Inner Circle.
The monthly event gives residents the opportunity to share visual art, writing, and music with the Sheridan community. Guests are invited to bring their lunch; cookies will be provided.
This month’s presenters include composer Lukáš Janata of Ridgewood, N.Y., who explores how shared music-making can rewire minds and spark connections across cultures, and fellow Ridgewood composer Erika Ji, who draws inspiration from starry skies, dream worlds, and stories that challenge how we see truth and meaning. Visual artist Joanna Hoge of Arvada, Colo., enjoys indoor bouldering, reading, and has recently taken up tattooing, while fiction writer Jerry Gabriel of California, Md., was raised in Ohio and has lived and worked across multiple states and countries. Rounding out the group is nonfiction writer Randle Browning of Brooklyn, N.Y., who, along with her partner, owns a family-run pizza place and dive bar in Waco, Texas.
Jentel Presents is free and open to the public. The next program is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 28.
