There is a lot going on in the new Natural History Museum of Wyoming. The museum, located in the Mohns Center at Sheridan College, showcases many dinosaur bones, as well as many other exhibits.

Tom Hebert has been the museum director since April.

The museum still depends on their volunteers, and on Thursday night, September 25, the museum held a volunteer workshop, and over 60 people signed up to attend.

He said that the all the volunteers bring their own areas of expertise to the museum.

He said that they are rolling out some exciting programs this fall. The first one is focused on women scientists, and will be held on October 1 from 6 to 8 p.m.

In addition to the programs this winter, Hebert is planning other events.

These workshops are open to anyone who is interested. For more information call the museum at 715-559-1584 or email director@nhmofwyoming.org.

There are other upcoming events, Hebert said. Watch the website, www.nhmofwyoming.org and Sheridan Media for these upcoming events.
