Sheridan College will honor the legacy of British synth-pop duo Yaz with a tribute concert at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, in Kinnison Hall at the Whitney Center for the Arts. The concert is free and open to the public.
After two years of preparation and hard work, Sheridan College Coordinator of Music and Music Technology Dr. Chris Erickson has assembled a team of accomplished performers and instructors to bring this celebration of the impactful but short-lived 1980s synth-pop duo Yazoo, (Yaz in the U.S.).
While appearing on Public Pulse, Erickson said the performance is a passion project that culminated into a multi-sensory experience.
