The Hospital Board of Trustees for the Johnson County Healthcare Center were given an update on the Family Medical Center clinic for the month of August by Director Heidi Huntley.
In her written report, Huntley said there were 1,444 visits during the month, compared to 1,399 in 2024.
There were 41 newly-established patients in August, and 390 patients were seen in the walk-in clinic versus 380 a year ago.
They have scheduled drive-through flu shot clinics for October 8 and 16, and the clinic has been giving flu shots to patients there already, both regular and high-dose vaccines.
The clinic is still interviewing candidates for clinic registration, an RN to work with Dr. Darnell, and a walk-in advance provider.
Their Ladies Night Out Breast Health events have been scheduled for Kaycee on Monday, October 13 and for Buffalo on Monday, October 20 from 5 to 7 both nights.
The clinic staff is looking forward to Dr. Hagge starting in mid-November.
