The Sheridan College Jazz Ensemble will present a free Jazz at Sheridan College Fall Concert featuring swing, big band and contemporary jazz.
The program includes “It’s Go Time” by Rich Woolworth, the fiery “¡Salsa Caliente!” by Chris Sharp, Glenn Miller’s timeless “String of Pearls,” and the world premiere of “Sunset Chill,” an original composition by Director of Bands and Jazz Studies Eric Richards.
Richards sat down with Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse and spoke on the unique experience that jazz concerts offer to audiences.

The evening will open with a performance by the SC Jazztet featuring Jacob Hirschman on guitar, Nick Lulias on bass, Joe Konkel on drums, and Dr. Richards on trombone and piano.
Jazz at Sheridan College fall 2025 promises something for every jazz listener, from longtime big band fans to those curious to experience live jazz in Sheridan and a performance Richards was excited to announce.
