October 22, 2025

News – Sheridan Media

As the leaves turn and the air grows crisp, Jentel invites the public to warm up with this month’s Jentel Presents event. The newest cohort of artists comes from across the country, from the West Coast to the East.

Jentel Presents gives residents and visitors the opportunity to meet the current group of visual artists and writers in residence while experiencing their creative work. The event will be held 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, at the Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library Inner Circle. Guests are encouraged to bring their lunch, and cookies will be provided. The event is free and open to the public.

Sarah Berns of Winthrop, Washington, is a nonfiction writer and former wildland firefighter. Now a rancher, writer, and mother, Berns focuses on female-driven stories centered around bold, complex women.

Sandra Harris of Hardin, Montana, began oil painting at 11 and remains a passionate student of art at 71. Primarily a portrait painter, she discovered her love for plein air work during Wyoming’s winter months.

Jodi Ferrier of Washington, D.C., is a painter whose visual art is inspired by her surroundings, especially new and unfamiliar places. She enjoys artist residencies, travel, hiking, dogs, and time with her family.

Edo Rosenblith of St. Louis, Missouri, is a multidisciplinary artist born into a large Jewish Ukrainian family of shoemakers. He enjoys long bike rides, cooking, coffee, and travel, with his most recent trip taking him to Argentina.

Clay Jordan of Brooklyn, New York, is a photographer who has published two photo books. His work explores the textures of everyday life and the subtle moments that connect people and place.
