Awarding the bid for the next phase of Black Tooth Park in west Sheridan was a recent item of consideration at the Sheridan City Council business meeting. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
Phase six, the latest phase in the Black Tooth Park project will include the construction of an irrigation system for approximately five acres of parkland. City Engineer Thomas Morneau discussed the various phases during a presentation before the City Council.
Morneau said along with the construction of the irrigation system, the base bid also includes the hauling and spreading of topsoil and the seeding of affected areas. Following Morneau’s presentation, the City Council voted unanimously to award the bid for the project to Highland Inc. in the amount of $222,478.
