News – Sheridan Media

Black and white photography has long held a special place among artists. Its monochrome palette removes the distraction of color, laying bare the photographer’s use of composition, light, and focus. SAGE Community Arts is preparing for a black and white photography juried show that will highlight the fundamentals of art, the play of light, and the creative ways photographers can bend or even break those rules.
While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, SAGE Executive Director Jill Benson explained the submission guidelines for this year’s show, which will be juried by Alex Pidgeon.
