Clear Creek Rec District Trunk or Treat

On Halloween, Oct. 31, the Clear Creek Recreation District (CCRD), Clearmont, held their third annual ‘Trunk or Treat.’

After enjoying the chili and cinnamon rolls, as well as Trunk or Treat, the ghosts and goblins went around the town, collecting more candy and treats.

Marcus and Alex Schneck, Amy Rowe’s sons were at the event. Marcus was a ‘pet groomer’ with a stuffed animal on his jacket. Alex was dressed as a ‘reckless driver’ to go recklessly between the houses.

Marcus said what he liked best about Halloween.

Alex said he liked the candy best.

Costumes included several dinosaurs, a ‘hunter’ and her ‘deer’ a zombie baseball player, a scarecrow and a king.

A fire pit and an outdoor patio heater were set up in the driveway of the Rec Center to take the chill off those who attended the event, and many homeowners, as well as the Clearmont Branch Library, Clearmont Town Hall and the Clearmont Historical Center were open and welcomed the small ghouls, dinosaurs and goblins with candy for their treat bags.
