News – Sheridan Media

The Sheridan County YMCA has announced they have acquired the KidsLife building opening a new chapter for both organizations and creating greater opportunities for community use of this space.
Kidslife is located just northeast of the Sheridan County YMCA building.
According to a release from the YMCA, they have owned the land on which the KidsLife facility was built in 2019, under an agreement between the two organizations, with the YMCA maintaining first right of refusal should the building ever be considered for sale.
The YMCA now owns both the land and the building.
KidsLife will be transitioning its programming to a new location as the YMCA becomes the sole owner and operator of the building.
KidsLife will be reorganizing its ministry and youth programming in hopes of hosting them again independently at a new location, while the YMCA will launch new and expanded programs from the acquired facility.
As a celebration of this new beginning, the community is invited to join them for an Open House & Pancake Breakfast at the KidsLife location to explore the facility, learn more about the vision for its future, and connect with staff and volunteers from both organizations.
Additional details on the event will be announced in the following month.
