Sheridan Commission Recommends Weaver for LGLP Board

Sheridan County’s Commissioners recommended one local business person for a position on the Local Government Liability Pool (LGLP) Board for a one-year term.

The commission chose Sheridan County’s Jessica Weaver for their nomination.

As explained by Commissioner Nick Siddle, the county commission considered Weaver for recommendation to the board, which will be voted on by the remainder of the state-wide board next month.

The other two candidates are current Chairman of the LGLP Board Brad Basse of Hot Springs County, and Amy Miller of Platte County.

According to the Agenda paperwork, the position is for an “at-large” member that will serve a three-year term beginning January 1, 2026.
