Buffalo Council Passes Cable System Ordinance on Final Reading

The Buffalo City Council considered Resolution No. 1423 on third and final reading, which would grant a non-exclusive permit to Clarity Telecom, LLC d/b/a Bluepeak, for the construction and operation of a cable system within the Buffalo City Limits.

No comment was offered by the council, and they voted to pass the Ordinance.

The council also considered Ordinance No. 1425 on third and final reading, which will grant a permit for a franchise to Visionary Communications, LLC for the construction and operation of a telecommunications system in the city, which was discussed by the council, after a motion by Councilman Mike Madden.

The council voted to continue the decision on Resolution No. 1425 until the next council meeting November 18.
