Veterans Talking to Veterans (an initiative of Mentor Agility that empowers veterans to become certified coaches, lead community groups, and foster resilience and growth among fellow veterans) has announced the VTTV Veterans Day Service Scholarship.

VTTV has received national recognition as an innovative suicide prevention initiative and is part of Wyoming Gov. Mark Gordon’s mental health road map.

According to VTTV, this scholarship is an opportunity for one U.S. veteran or their spouse to receive full tuition for Mentor Agility’s Trauma Informed Health and Wellness Coach Training Program. The nationally accredited program is recognized by both the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching and the International Coaching Federation.

The scholarship is designed to honor military service by offering veterans a new path to leadership through professional coaching. The recipient will complete Mentor Agility’s accredited training and then lead a VTTV community coaching group, where veterans gather to build connection, resilience and post traumatic growth.

Founder and CEO of Mentor Agility and VTTV, Dr. Julie Elledge said the scholarship honors the service and sacrifice of veterans by providing them with tools to continue making an impact.

“Through coaching, veterans can transform their experiences into hope, leadership and community strength,” she said.

Nominations and applications opened Nov. 1, and will remain open through Dec. 5. The scholarship recipient will be announced in mid December. The application can be found by clicking here.
