City of Sheridan officials will soon be considering a professional agreement making Judge Jeremy Kisling the Primary Judge for two years at a monthly fixed rate of $3,250. City Attorney Brad Thimmesch said that Judge Kisling was initially appointed as the Alternative Municipal Judge in December 2024 at a rate of $250 per hour.
Since becoming the Primary Municipal Court Judge, Thimmesch said that Judge Kisling has done an outstanding job in fulfilling the needs of Sheridan’s Municipal Court and that he maintains a strong and collaborative relationship with the City, consistently considering the City’s priorities while balancing them with the needs of defendants. The City Council will consider the professional agreement at their business meeting Monday, December 1.
