Jo Co Commission Accepts Donation of Flag Pole for Harold Jarrard Park

Johnson County’s Commissioners discussed a proposed donation of a flagpole and flag by Wes and Kris Ackerson to be erected in the arena at the Harold Jarrard Park in Kaycee.

According to Commission Chairman Bill Novotny, there has never been a flag and pole at the arena, and this would be the first one at the park.

He then asked for a motion from the commission to accept the donation.

Commissioner Steve Kozisek said county employees had offered to install the

flag pole.

The commission voted to accept the donation.
