WYO Performing Arts and Education Center is inviting the public to celebrate the season with Grammy-winning country artist Suzy Bogguss in her beloved holiday concert, “A Swingin’ Little Christmas,” at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7.
According to the WYO, with charm, warmth and a voice that glows brighter than twinkle lights, Bogguss and her band deliver a mix of festive standards and playful surprises-all with a swingin’ twist. The performance is the perfect way to lift your spirits and share the joy of the holidays with family and friends at the WYO.
Bogguss is a living legend of country music, having earned eight Top 10 hits throughout the 1990s before exploring new influences — including jazz, western swing and the Bakersfield sound — during the 21st century.
From Grammy Award-winning performances to platinum-selling records, Bogguss has earned her stripes as a singer-songwriter, producer and road warrior along the way. Bogguss has earned many accolades, including the Academy of Country Music’s Top New Female Vocalist award in 1988 and the Country Music Association’s Horizon Award in 1992.
