The Johnson County Commission was given the UW Extension Office year-end review for 2025.
Micah Most, Agriculture and Natural Resources Extension Educator, detailed some of what he accomplished this past year.
Other program areas were livestock production and management, rangeland management, garden and small acreage management, and pesticide safety education.
Local classes and events provided included pesticide license and re-certification, fruit tree pruning, and beginning canning classes.
He then touched on priorities for 2026, which are to cultivate community relationships and partnerships, to provide timely and relevant educational programs, and to improve his knowledge and skills to better serve the community.
