Jo Co Road & Bridge Gives Update on Barnum Bridge Project

Johnson County Road & Bridge Supervisor Scott Pehringer updated the county commission on the latest for a bridge replacement project in southern Johnson County.

Pehringer detailed what has happened.

According to WYDOT’s State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP), the plan is to replace the bridge over the Middle Fork of the Powder River at Barnum Road starting in 2026.

Pehringer said the next step in the project will be for it to be brought before the WYDOT Transportation Commission for their approval.
