Buffalo Police Chief Sean Bissett, in his recent report to the city council, talked about an unusual incident involving an individual that attempted to harm himself.
He explained what happened.
Bissett said the man received help and survived.
He also reported during the month of December there were 2,073 calls into the 9-1-1 dispatch center, with officers responding to 584 incidents.
