At a recent work session of the SCSD#3 School Board on Jan. 13, one item on the agenda was dates for community engagement. There will be two events on Feb. 4. The first will be the monthly community lunch from 11:30 – noon. The menu is beef stroganoff, corn, and salad.
Lunch price is $5, payable in advance, and those wishing to attend the lunch should notify the school before noon on January 29 to ensure that the food service will have sufficient food. Those interested in attending can call 307-758-4412 or drop by the school. No late orders will be allowed.
At 6 p.m. on the same day there will be a listening session for the community, and the topic will be Profile of a Graduate.
The Wyoming State Board of Education (SBE) defined what it means to be a graduate by creating the Wyoming Profile of a Graduate, which is a vision of a Wyoming graduate, and what a Wyoming student should have to graduate.

“We’re going to have to make a change to our graduation policy sometime over the summer,” Clearmont Superintendent Chase Christensen said.
Anyone interested in learning about the Profile of a Graduate is welcome to attend the upcoming listening session.
