An arraignment hearing for 46-year-old Holly Sabo was held Thursday in Fourth Judicial District Court in Sheridan. During the hearing, Sabo pleaded not guilty to three counts of felony unlawful use of a credit, debit, or charge card, one count of felony theft and one count of misdemeanor unlawful use of a credit, debit, or charge card. Between February 2025 and September 2025, Sabo allegedly made purchases and cash withdrawals from ATM’s using a card that did not belong to her. According to court documents, during that time, Sabo made in excess of $8,900 in unlawful charges. She was arrested for the alleged crimes on December 10, 2025.
District Court Judge Darci Phillips, following Sabo’s not guilty pleas, scheduled a three-day jury trial to begin Monday, June 1. A pretrial conference will take place April 30 at 10 am. A bond modification request by the State to prohibit Sabo from gambling while out on bond was approved by Judge Phillips. Each of the four felonies Sabo is charged with is punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000. The one misdemeanor charge carries a maximum penalty of six-months in jail and a fine of up to $750.
