Sheridan Memorial Hospital has welcomed Dr. Lisa Mullen, a board-certified family medicine physician, to its Primary Care team. Mullen brings more than a decade of experience providing full-spectrum care to patients of all ages and is now seeing patients in Sheridan.
Some physicians choose to specialize in a specific area of medicine, devoting years of education and research to helping patients address particular health concerns. Family medicine physicians specialize in just that, families.
Many people move through life seeing several different primary care doctors. When Sheridan Memorial Hospital developed and opened its Primary Care clinic with Primary Care Dr. Kristopher Schamber at the helm in 2022, one goal was to give patients the option of receiving care from a family medicine physician. The approach reflects a return to the traditional practice of doctors who serve as the primary physician for entire families, from the oldest to the youngest members. That continuity of care and long-term relationship with patients is what led Mullen to pick up the Gladstone bag and dedicate her life to medicine, making her decision to join the team at SMH Primary Care a natural fit.

For the past 11 years, Mullen has practiced family medicine in Buffalo. With four generations of her family rooted in Wyoming, she brings a deep, lived understanding of rural medicine, where earned trust, long-term relationships and dependable quality of care matter just as much as clinical expertise.
Mullen said she is currently accepting new patients and looks forward to building lasting relationships with the people and families she has dedicated her life to helping.
