A carload of equipment has arrived for construction of the new sugar factory here in Sheridan, and work is to start immediately.
A 16,000-pound hoist and two concrete mixers arrived this afternoon. C.S. Ferrier, vice president of the company that will build the plant, is also in the city, and will establish an office at the factory site as soon as work begins.
R.O. Schleicher and R.A. Timmel have purchased the Sands Cigar store. They have renamed the business the P.O. News Stand.
Forty-three white dresses, up to $15 in value, will go on sale Saturday for just $2.95 at the Golden Rule Store in downtown Sheridan.
