The Johnson County School Board considered a needed project for the replacement of an HVAC system coupling at Cloud Peak Elementary School.

The board discussed the project, saying it needed to get done sooner than later.

According to information on the written bid, the work will include replacement of heating and cooling system groove rubbers, draining and filling with existing fluid, along with a $10,000 insulation budget included in the price.

The board voted to approve and accept the bid from Apex Mechanical of Buffalo in the amount of just under $139,000.
