Police incidents, Upcoming Meetings Discussed by Buffalo Council

In addition to the updates on the officer-involved car crash and the pipe bomb incident, Buffalo Police Chief Sean Bissett gave the number of incidents during the month of February, which he called “busy.”

According to Bissett, there were 1,630 calls into the 9-1-1 dispatch center, with officers responding to 496 incidents which resulted in nine arrests, including the individual responsible for building the pipe bombs.

Mayor Shane Schrader, during the Announcements in the Agenda, said the City/County meeting would be March 17 at 7 a.m.; the next City Council meeting would be March 17 at 5 p.m.; and the Planning & Zoning Board meeting will be March 24 at 1 p.m.

All of the meetings will take place in Buffalo’s City Hall.
