The Clearmont Town Council met on Monday, March 16, with several items on the agenda.
There were several visitors, Cheryl Roebling; Joanie Kiser; Stephan Charles, Wydot; Sheriff Levi Dominguez; Sabrina Rhoades and Michael Arzy, County Commissioner.
Mayor Chris Schock gave an update about Water Well #3, saying the water was clear now, and it had been sent to the lab for testing and they will get results in approximately 12 days.

“We’re hoping to get that back by the end of the week or first of next week,” he said.
If the water quality is approved, the well will be a boon to the town.
Schock presented the council with information about Jason Watts Developer, and that will be discussed at the April meeting.
He also talked about the Town of Clearmont water-line project that will be done in conjunction with the WYDOT Highway project which is being done this summer on US Highway 14/16 through Clearmont. Schock added there would be a special meeting on April 13, to discuss the bid for the project.
Stephan Charles, Resident Engineer, Wyoming Department of Transportation, attended the council meeting.
He added that they expect the project to be finished in November.
Schock also mentioned the April 14, county, city meeting at Town Hall in Sheridan that he plans to attend.

Cheryl Roebling, Clearmont Women’s Club, approached the board about having a community wide-clean up day.
She said the Clearmont Community Church would provide lunch for the clean up day or days.
Roebling added that they have to talk to the residents to see if they want to help with the clean up.
There was also discussion about the town renting a large dumpster, for trash, and residents can meet with the town to discuss what they want hauled off. Schock also mentioned that some items, such as refrigerators, can be taken at the county landfill, but there is a charge for them.
Stephan Charles gave an update to the council about the upcoming WYDOT and waterline project, and left a copy of the plans for the project.
Next meeting will be held on April 20, at Town Hall at 6 p.m.
