The Buffalo Chamber of Commerce came before the Johnson County Commission to give an update on the chamber itself, what they have done over the last year, and highlight plans for 2026.

Tina Clumpner, Chamber Board Secretary, introduced the current board to the commissioners.

She detailed some changes the chamber made at the end of 2025, saying they had revised their by-laws, the Chamber Handbook, wrote a public comment policy, an AI use policy, and an emergency procedures policy.

During 2025, she said the chamber planned and executed the Fair and Rodeo Parade, the Lighted Christmas Parade, and the weekly Wednesday Markets.

She explained that they also helped local businesses during the year.

Clumpner also gave run down of their plans for 2026, and we will have that in an upcoming story.
