Fire from an unknown source totally destroyed the flour mill on West Dow Street shortly after midnight.

The Sheridan Manufacturing company, which owns the mill, reports loss of about $12,000 on the plant alone. There was an additional loss of about 1,500 bushels of wheat and small amounts of flour and other products.

Bert Dow of Big Horn was a visitor in Sheridan today.

The United States government is offering a reward for the apprehension of Cyril Bee, a sergeant at Fort McKenzie, who took unauthorized leave of the Army some time ago. He is reported to have taken with him the hearts of two Sheridan maidens, having borrowed considerable money from them on promise of marriage.
