N.A. Pearson has received the contract to build a 10-room bungalow for D.E. Gwinn.
The contract price is just under $4,000, and the house will be built on Nielsen Heights. Work is to begin at once, with completion by Sept. 1. Sheridan buff brick with Sheridan Brown Flash brick trim will be used in the exterior construction.
Two young men who pleaded guilty to forgery have each been sentenced to a year to 18 months in the penitentiary. The two obtained over $100 from Sheridan business men.
Sheridan’s city council voted this morning to provide water to Sheridan’s sugar company for a year, provided the company builds the necessary four-inch main to the plant.
