One of Sheridan County’s newest outdoor recreation destinations is the Sheridan Community Land Trust Big Goose Natural Area. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has more.
The Big Goose Natural Area located at 14 Lane Lane in Sheridan is a 117-acre community space that features more than two miles of mowed walking trails along with public access for fishing and floating on Big Goose Creek. Visitors can also stop by the welcome center while on site. Sheridan Community Land Trust Marketing and Development Contractor Chris Vrba said there is an extensive network of trails, some which are off-leash trails.
Vrba said the Sheridan Community Land Trust Big Goose Natural Area is permanently conserved and will serve the community for generations. For more information on the BGNA, you can click here.
