Sheridan Commission OKs Update for Emergency Ops Planning

Sheridan County’s Commissioners considered the Promulgation and Approval Page to the county’s Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) at their recent meeting.

County Emergency Management Coordinator Jesse Ludikhuize explained why the update to the EOP was needed.

Commissioner Holly Jennings thanked Ludikhuize for his work to update the EOP.

Ludikhuize said once the county approved the update, he will bring it before the municipalities in the county for their approval and adoption, which will keep them compliant for grants and other federal funding.

The commission voted to approve and accept the update to the EOP.
