The Johnson County School Board considered awarding the contract to replace the sanitary sewer lift station at Cloud Peak Elementary School.
According to information on the district’s meeting Agenda, the project will replace
the lift station, rails, components, and the vault, which is in the middle of the street and deep in the ground.
Superintendent Charles Auzqui discussed the project with the board, saying some aspects of it will help with the state approving future projects for the district.
Peak Water Services in Montana was the only bidder on the project.
The initial bid amount was just over $69,000 but with add-ons of a
lift station lining at about $23,000 and bypassing the lift station for two weeks at
roughly $11,000 the total bid amount is just over $103,000.
The board awarded the contract to Peak Water Services.
