BHS Principal Gives School Board Update on New SCJC Campus

Buffalo High School Principal Jake Evans spoke with the Johnson County School Board at their recent meeting, and gave an update on the latest information concerning plans and timelines for the new campus of Sheridan College in Johnson County.

Evans gave details on the campus.

Evans said flexibility is the key to that space in how it may be utilized.

This will be the first building erected on the 11-acre site, so the college is envisioning expanding in future years, he said.

Evans said Sheridan College is making a major investment in Johnson County.

The goal, according to Evans, is to begin teaching classes on the new campus in September of 2028.
