Buffalo-Johnson County Spring Cleanup May 13-16

The City of Buffalo and Johnson County will be offering their Spring Cleanup Days later this week, where residents can get vouchers to make as many free trips to the county landfill as they wish with the governmental agencies picking up the bill.

Starting this Wednesday, May 13 and continuing Thursday, May 14, Friday, May 15 and wrapping up on Saturday, May 16.

Vouchers can be picked up all this week at either the Buffalo City Hall or Johnson County Clerk’s Office at the Historic Courthouse.

City residents will need to bring proof of city residency, while county residents will need to bring proof of county residency, and both will need the license plate number of the vehicle they will be using to make runs to the landfill.

The Hazardous Waste Day is scheduled for Saturday, June 6, and we will have more on that as it gets closer.
