Sheridan Commission Approves Amended Salary Schedule for Electeds

Sheridan County’s commissioners, at their recent regular meeting, considered a Resolution to establish salaries for elected officials from 2027 through 2031.

Commissioner Nick Siddle made a motion to amend the Resolution to reduce the salary of the county coroner because it is considered a part-time position.

The commission approved the amendment on a split vote, and then approved the amended Resolution on a split vote, with Commissioners Mike Arzy and Holly Jennings voting against both.
