The awards keep on coming.
At the 2026 Wyoming Association of Broadcasters (WAB) Convention in Green River, Sheridan Media won 14 awards (9 1st place, and 5 2nd place) out of a possible 29.
Of the 16 categories available in large market radio (Sheridan, Gillette, Casper, Cheyenne, Laramie, Rock Springs, Green River, Evanston), Sheridan Media placed 1st and/or 2nd in 12 of them.
Of the 12, Sheridan Media swept 2 of them (winning both first and second place).
Those 2 were Best Single Commercial and Best Station Promo (Second year in a row sweeping this category).
Jill Moriarty won 3 awards (1st and 2nd place Best Station Promo and 1st Place Best Single Commerical).
Those who won 2 awards are Steve Sission (1st Place Best Single Promo and 1st Place Best Single Commercial), Julie Chadwick (1st Place Account Executive of the Year and 2nd Place Best Station Promo) Tommy Braaten (2nd Place Best Radio Show and 2nd Place Best News Reporter) and Steven Schreffler (1st Place Best Podcast and 1st Place Video Sports Production).
Sheridan Media also placed 1st in all 3 sports related categories (Kevin Koile – Best Sports Coverage, Aaron Ligocki – Best Play by Play and Steven Schreffler – Best Video Sports Production).
Awards were judged by the Idaho Association of Broadcasters.
