Several hundred people united with the members of the Grand Army of the Republic today in doing honors to the soldier dead.
Ideal weather prevailed as a procession under command of Grand Marshall John Shaffer moved up Main Street to the cemetery. A drum and fife corps and firing squad from Company D of the Wyoming National Guard led the way. Also in the procession were 200 school children, bearing small flags and escorted by the city police.
Among those in Sheridan today are Mr. and Mrs. Dunbar Adams of Dayton, and Mrs. J.H. Beers of Ranchester.
