JCSD1 Board Renews Superintendent’s Contract

At their recent regular meeting, the Johnson County School Board considered the employment contract for Superintendent Charles Auzqui.

During the meeting, the board went into Executive Session to discuss his contract and after reconvening the regular meeting they considered the renewal of Auzqui’s contract.

A motion was made to extend his contract for two years beginning July 1, 2026 and running through June 30, 2028.

Auzqui spoke to the board.

No discussion was offered by the board after the motion, and they voted to renew the contract for two years.
