The Sheridan City Council at their Monday night business meeting, gave second reading approval of ordinance 2303-26, rezone of Cloud Peak Ranch 15-A Filing. City Planner Kelly Schroeder said the applicant is requesting a rezone from B-1 Business District to a Planned Unit Development to allow for commercial canopy storage on the 3.4 acres of property that is located at 940 Covey Run Road. Schroeder said the PUD that’s being proposed outlines some very specific uses that would be allowed.

In order for the rezone to take effect, the ordinance must be approved by the City Council one more time on third and final reading, which is scheduled to take place at the Council’s August 17 business meeting.
