A request for a closure of the County Clerk’s Office on August 18 was considered by the Johnson County Commission at their last regular meeting.

County Clerk Jackie Camino explained why she felt the closure was needed.

Commissioner Steve Kozicek asked if the closure for the Clerk’s Office was normally done, and Chairman Bill Novotny said it had been done during recent elections.

The commission then voted to approve the closure for August 18 during the Primary Election.
