Buffalo’s City Council rejected an initial offer on city-owned real estate, but decided to make a counteroffer for the sale of a lot in the Buffalo Business Park.
Councilman Scott Madsen made a motion concerning the proposed real estate transaction.
The testing referred to was for geo-technical testing which, according to discussion, the city had done when the business park was laid out, and the electrical has been furnished by the city to each lot in the business park, so getting service from the curb to the building is the responsibility of the builder.
The offer on the lot was reportedly $200,000.
The council voted to make the counter offer with the two lines for testing and electrical service stricken from the agreement.
