Buffalo Police Chief Sean Bissett, in his report to the city council this week, Talked about the assault on two women on the Clear Creek Trail System last Sunday.

Although he couldn’t give some details in the case, as it is an ongoing investigation, he shared what he could.

Bissett praised the first responders, those in the dispatch center, police, sheriff’s deputies and EMS, but said the victims in this case were especially helpful in law enforcement making the arrest.

Bissett said there is no further threat to the community on the trail system or in town, but the public should always keep their heads on a swivel to be aware of their surroundings.
