The Brinton Museum will present The Small Works Show, September 26 through December 21, 2026, bringing together more than 60 established and emerging artists from Wyoming and across the Rocky Mountain West for the Museum’s biennial invitational exhibition.
The public is invited to celebrate the exhibition during an Opening Reception on Friday, September 25, from 5–7 PM at The Brinton Museum. The reception is free and open to the public and will include light refreshments and a cash bar. Many of the participating artists are expected to attend, giving visitors an opportunity to chat with them and explore the exhibition.
Celebrating creativity on an intimate scale, The Small Works Show highlights a diverse range of artistic voices, styles, and perspectives from throughout the region. Though modest in size, each work reflects the skill, creativity, and individuality of its maker. All artwork featured in The Small Works Show will be available for purchase.
Following the Opening Reception, available works will also be offered online through The Brinton Museum Store, providing collectors near and far an opportunity to purchase original artwork from the exhibition. With works by more than 60 artists, the exhibition offers opportunities for both experienced and beginning collectors to discover new artists and add original work to their collections.
With the holiday season approaching, the exhibition also provides an opportunity to find one-of-a-kind gifts while directly supporting working artists.
The Small Works Show will remain on view through December 21, 2026. The Small Works Show is supported by the Wyoming Arts Council, The Tucker Foundation, and The Edwin T. Meredith Foundation.
Admission to the show is free.
