SMH Foundation’s The Link – Partners in Pink scheduled for October 17

The Sheridan Memorial Hospital Foundation will host its annual walk and run, The Link – Partners in Pink, on Saturday, October 17, at 10 am at Whitney Commons. Foundation Director of Philanthropy Liz Dearcorn says all funds raised through the event support patient comfort and care at the hospital’s Welch Cancer Center.

Dearcorn said those unable to attend in person can still participate through the Foundation’s virtual race option. Virtual participants can complete the race on their own and submit their times by 10 am on race day to compete alongside neighbors, family and friends. Participants can pick up their T-shirts Friday, October 16, from 3 to 6 pm in the hospital cafeteria or beginning at 9 am on race day at Whitney Commons. Registration is $40 per participant for both the in-person and virtual races. You can register for the event here.
