The Johnson County School Board considered Isolation and Home School requests during their last regular meeting.
Three families submitted requests for Isolation for the 2026-27 school year.
An Isolation Request is an application for reimbursement for private
transportation or maintenance of isolated students who do not live on a designated bus route who must be transported to a route to attend school.
Also approved by the board were requests for home schooling.
Seven families have submitted notification regarding homeschooling their 10 children.
The approval was part of the board’s Consent Agenda.
