At this week’s Sheridan City Council study session, City Planning Director Kelly Schroeder provided details of a request to rezone property in north Sheridan. Schroeder said the applicants, John E Rice and Sons, are requesting to rezone 26.3 acres at 4250 Yellowtail Drive from a Higher Education District and R-3 Residence District to a B-2 Business District.

The City Planning Commission, at their meeting Monday night, recommended the Council approve the rezone request. A resolution for the rezone will come before the City Council at an upcoming business meeting.
