Johnson County’s Commissioners considered approving a new agreement for the Emergency Fire Suppression Account (EFSA) at their last meeting.
County Fire Warden Tom Camino explained that the agreement was changed for the first time since the original agreement was put it place in the 1990’s, and that the county needed to sign the new one.
Camino brought the agreement before the commission and explained what EFSA is and how it works.
The county attorney reviewed the new agreement and said the commission could agree to sign it if they chose to do so.
The commission voted to have the chairman sign the agreement.
