A Look Back in Time: June 27, 1915

June 29, 2015

Now here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on June 27, 1915.

Stevens, Fryberger & Company, Sheridan’s New York Store, has announced early reductions on ladies’ and misses’ spring and summer wool and silk suits. Any wool or silk suit valued up to $35 is now $17.50. And the store gives Pony Votes on every cash sale and for money paid on accounts.

Champion fancy roper Sam J. Garrett came through Sheridan yesterday on his way to Billings. He’ll participate in that city’s Passing of the West frontier show the last three days of this week.

A new tennis court has been made on the grounds of the Sheridan Inn. The city’s tennis players are invited to use the court at any time they desire.
