A Look Back in Time: July 16, 1915

July 16, 2015

Now here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on July 16, 1915.

The city of Sheridan has made formal demand upon paving contractor C.H. Nash and Company for indemnification for defective pavement in city District 2. The district, which embraces West Works and West Loucks streets was paved with Dolarway paving three years ago, and much of the surfacing has come off, exposing the concrete base.

Visitors in Sheridan today include Del Ray of Banner, Mart Hibbard and daughter of Buffalo, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Henry of Lodge Grass.

Passenger train 41 is 11 hours late today because of a washout near St. Joseph, Mo.
