St. Peter’s Church in Sheridan has established “Camp You’re Welcome” on North Piney. Dean Edward M. Cross of the church and 20 Boy Scouts left today for their annual two weeks’ encampment. After the boys conclude their outing, a number of young women of the church will occupy the site.
Visitors in Sheridan today include Mr. and Mrs. C.N. Walters of Buffalo, T.N. Clay of Casper, Mrs. John Loafman and daughter of Clearmont, and Fred Given of Clearmont.
Sheridan’s city council today awarded the contract to Jess U. Stout for construction of a steel and reinforced concrete bridge across the mill race on Marion Street. Work is to be completed by Oct. 1.
